Another Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Kelsey!!

Kelsey turned 15 on Sunday.

I took her and 3 of her best friends to the
Arboretum Saturday night for dinner and shopping.

We ate at the Cheesecake Factory.
Dianne and Erica joined us (It was a "girls only" night!)

Kelsey was sure that heels would be fun, but . . . .

After shopping, we went to stay at the Renaissance for the night.
This beautiful hotel is at the Arboretum,
and Dad just happens to know the concierge!
We got a great deal, and the staff treated us like royalty!

Breakfast in bed is unheard of in our house!

Four exhausted girls got up and made it to church together on Sunday morning!

Kelsey finished Module 1 of Drivers' Ed last night,
so now it's time to go get the learner's permit!
Ugh . . .
We've been out of the "young" driver
mode in our house for a while now.
Here we go again . . .

Happy Birthday to Kelsey!

Looks like a lot of fun. Funny how the birthday parties change over the years, isn't it.

So the angels will be working a little overtime with a new driver. I remember well how exciting it was to be finally driving. . . and you get a chance to exercise those "letting go and trusting God" muscles!
